Job title: Business Process Owner within the Proximus Network Transformation & Orchestration department

Job location: Proximus Boreal, Belgium

Job duration: 2026-11-09 to 2027-12-31

Job weekly hours: 40 hrs./week

Job language required: FR & NL (strong and fluent) & EN

Job salary required: 50 to 55 euros an hour

Summary of the Role

As a Business Process Owner, you will design, improve and govern end-to-end processes that drive network transformation and automatization. You will connect business stakeholders with operational and technical teams, translating business needs into clear processes, requirements and functional specifications.

You will model AS-IS and TO-BE processes using the BPMN 2.0 standard, monitor process performance through KPI’s and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, automation and customer experience. Your scope covers the network lifecycle, from planning and rollout to activation, service assurance, maintenance and sometimes out phasing.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience in process management or continuous improvement, business analysis preferably in telecommunications.

  • Experience managing cross-functional projects, adoption included and organizational change.

  • Ability to gather, challenge and translate business needs into process and functional requirements.

  • Experience facilitating workshops, interviews, process reviews and gap analyses.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.

  • Ability to work with the operational teams as well as with tool owners, process and IT-architects.

  • Autonomy, leadership, communication skills, assertiveness, flexibility (business and technical), customer orientation and rigor.

  • Strong Dutch and/or French communication and working knowledge of English.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with BPMN 2.0 and ARIS or a comparable modelling tool.

  • Good knowledge of telecom networks or the curiosity and drive to quickly build and apply this knowledge.
