Role Overview
The Crisis Management Consultant will be responsible for designing, validating, and implementing the
company-wide crisis management process that ensures operational resilience, protects reputation, and
enables rapid recovery from disruptive events. This role will build upon the defined crisis management strategy.
The Crisis Management Consultant will report to the Business Continuity Manager within the Group
Corporate Affairs team at Proximus.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assessment & Analysis
Evaluate existing protocols across activation, response, communication, and post-crisis evaluation stages
Identify potential improvements on the current crisis response structures.
Development
Develop an operational process based on the strategic plan in accordance with the
Proximus way of working.
Establish KPIs and maturity metrics to monitor effectiveness and readiness
Tooling & Process Design
Co-create templates, guidelines, and tooling improvements to support the new strategy.
Align with best practices and ISO22301 and ITIL standards
4. Implementation & Change Management
Work in close collaboration with the Change Management Team to develop awareness campaigns
Define needs, develop content and give training for the different roles in the new process
Required Skills & Competencies
Proven experience in developing and implementing crisis management processes in a large organization, ideally within telecom or another regulated industry
Knowledge of Crisis Management best practices and standards (ISO, ITIL)
Project management skills: used to work with virtual teams, organizing workshops, planning and progress tracking
Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Fluent in English and preferably knowledge of French and/or Dutch
Can work autonomously, but is also a good team player
