Job Title: Sr. Cyber Security Consultant

Job location: Brussels, Belgium

Job duration: From end of 2025 to end of 2026, possibly extended to Q1 2027.

Job weekly hours: 40 hrs./week

Languages: Fluent in French and English with good knowledge of Dutch.

Role description:

Support the NIS2 compliance program within Proximus CCS/CPS by performing technical tasks and ensuring cybersecurity compliance. You will help identify and resolve security risks, validate technical designs, and assist with audit preparation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and validate NIS2 security controls in SDWAN, MPLS, IoT, and product APIs.

Perform risk and gap analyses and document improvement actions.

Support audits and compliance reporting (NIS2, ISO27001).

Collaborate with domain architects, service owners, and security SPOCs.

Document technical solutions and provide awareness/training to teams.

Escalate deviations or non-compliance issues.

Required Skills

Knowledge of cybersecurity and compliance frameworks (NIS2, ISO27001).

Experience with technical validation and project development in telecom/IT.

Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Team player with good communication skills (English).

Reporting Line

Reports to MAES Gert (CCS/CPS) and works with the NIS2 Leading Track Team, Security Governance, and domain architects.
