We are looking for a highly motivated, Senior UX/UI Analyst Designer to join us on the exciting journey of our Design for product and sales journeys Chapter.
Mission
We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Analyst to lead the design and optimization of our sales ordering applications used by our sales agents. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, user-centered design skills, and the ability to navigate complex IT ecosystems. You will play a key role in ensuring our tools are intuitive, efficient, and tailored to meet the needs of our internal colleagues while aligning with the business objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. User Experience Design
Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for sales ordering applications.
Map end-to-end user flows, ensuring they are seamless, cohesive, and aligned with user needs and business goals.
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and design solutions to enhance usability.
Conduct usability testing and iterative design improvements.
2. User Research
Lead user research activities with internal colleagues, including interviews, surveys, and usability tests.
Synthesize user feedback into actionable insights to inform design decisions.
Document research findings and analysis in a clear, structured format, ensuring insights are shareable and accessible to stakeholders.
3. Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with product owners, business analyst, tech lead, developers, and stakeholders to align design with business objectives.
Serve as a bridge between technical teams and users, ensuring seamless communication of requirements and solutions.
4. Technical Expertise
Analyse and understand the complexities of legacy IT systems.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure design feasibility within technical constraints.
Provide guidance on integrating modern UX practices into existing tools and ensuring compliancy with our Design System.
5. Project Leadership
Lead UX/UI initiatives from concept to implementation.
Advocate for user-centered design principles across the organization.
Act as a mentor/ role model for our UX/UI Guild
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years in UX/UI design, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions for enterprise applications.
Experience working with legacy IT systems in enterprise environments.
Ideally, previous experience as a developer, with a deep understanding of IT systems and architectures.
Ideally, background in designing for internal business applications or tools.
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Skilled in conducting research and translating findings into design improvements.
Proven ability to deconstruct complex systems and identify user pain points.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Team player and collaborative
Tools and Skills:
Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Experience with prototyping and user testing tools.
Knowledge of analytics applications such as Splunk is a plus.
Languages
English (written and speaking) and French, Dutch is a plus.
