Sr. Program Manager - Technical

Location: Standard location is Brussels (2 days Hybrid)

Function description:


The Technical Tribe Lead is the Technical counterpart of the OmniCare & SME Tribe Lead, bringing deep technical expertise to drive the Digital & IT Development roadmap and ensure architectural compliance.

The Tech Lead drives the Technical vision and the underlying digital / IT / Technical roadmap and support the architectural decisions for the Tribe Lead in collaboration of the Architecture Chapter

The Tech Lead works closely with the Business Partner Manager, Epic owners, Solution architects, Product Owner and scrum masters to create the different artifacts from Epic to Feature that liaise the technical roadmap with the key initiatives

Together with the Tribe lead, the Tech Lead is leading the Tribe to bring synergy alignment and delivery quality across the different squads

In details,

Support production issues resolution and report to business on impact and way forward.

Consolidate business forecasts and vision on all Tribes (budget and resource allocation).

Participate in all IT decisions in the Tribe.

You will Support the move to distributed development, agile delivery, release management

You will Animate on Strategic, Tribe and Squad level defined ceremonies

You will Maintain the Tribe technical roadmap with Architecture chapter

You will Collaborate with Tribe Lead /Business Partner Manager / Product Owner / Chapter lead and C-Level of all Strategic Architectural discussion

You will Provide technical guidance and feedback on all Initiatives for your tribe / squad members to create / prioritize Epic, features

You will Support all Squads to Plan, execute, deliver high quality software by managing complex impediments

You will Align with all the people working in the squads on the Technical and provide simple, fast, customer centric innovation

You will Report on the technical delivery of your tribe during Quarterly Business Reviews, in compliance with the Objective key results defined and KPIs.

Required:


You are an experienced IT leader with strong technical and architecture capabilities (deep knowledge in diverse IT & technology areas)

You have extensive experience in ICT Program Management in a Telecom company – or similar.

You understand the business very well and ability to translate the business vision in technical/IT requirements

You are able to deal with budget/financial aspects.

You have strong communication, coaching & negotiation skills.

You can create an efficient work atmosphere based on trust and have the ability to resolve conflicts.

You have Agile leadership skills (certification is a plus)
