Senior UX Designer
Freelancer Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Designer to join our Enterprise Design Chapter, specializing in crafting exceptional B2B experiences for large corporate clients.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a mature mindset, capable of navigating complex challenges and delivering value-driven solutions.
As a key contributor, you will lead the Invoices and Billing squads through the end-to-end design journey, leveraging methodologies like the Double Diamond and service design frameworks. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to shape customer-centric solutions that align with business goals, while contributing to strategic discussions and organizational innovation.
Responsibilities
Own and facilitate the design process, ensuring alignment on mission purpose and target groups.
Conduct market and customer research to uncover insights, validate critical assumptions, and assess business potential.
Propose UX improvements by analyzing large datasets, conducting user research, and leading ideation workshops.
Create and test prototypes iteratively with end users to refine and deliver an MVP.
Develop deliverables such as user stories, wireframes, user journeys, service blueprints and prototypes using tools like Figma.
Ensure seamless integration with design systems and the UX research library.
Engage and align with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and objectives.
Facilitate co-creation workshops and strategic discussions to foster buy-in and alignment.
Present insights, concepts, and business cases to stakeholders, incorporating their feedback into actionable recommendations.
Work closely with Agile teams, including Product Owners (POs), to refine user stories and requirements.
Support cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing within squads.
Provide coaching and guidance to junior designers to build team capabilities.
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Service Designer or UX/UI Designer.
Proven expertise in B2B enterprise applications and working with large datasets.
Demonstrable experience applying Design Thinking and delivering personas, customer journeys, service blueprints, wireframes and prototypes.
Strong strategic and conceptual thinking, with the ability to lead complex service design projects independently.
Technical Skills
Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Fig Jam, Miro, or Mural.
Experience with design systems and advanced wireframing.
Knowledge of GenAI and AI applications (professional or personal use).
Soft Skills & Behaviors
Strong presentation, interviewing, and stakeholder management skills.
Negotiation skills to align with Product Owners and business goals.

Languages
Fluency in English (written and spoken) and French or Dutch is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Telecom and/or service sectors.
Coaching experience with junior service designers.
Knowledge of UX, behavioral design, or growth hacking.
Proven ability to inspire stakeholders through storytelling.
Work Location
Based in Belgium, with a requirement to work 2 days a week in the office.
