Job Title: UX Conversation & Agentic Designer

Job location: Brussels, Belgium Weekly Hours: 40 hrs./week

Role Description:

We are creating a new role for a UX Conversation & Agentic Designer, a hybrid designer who shapes how customers and employees interact with AI across touchpoints. You?ll craft conversation flows, personality guidelines, and interaction logic that make automation feel intelligent, human, and trustworthy.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and optimize conversational flows for chatbots, voice assistants, and multimodal interfaces

Create and maintain conversation design systems and dialogue patterns

Develop persona frameworks and tone of voice guidelines for AI assistants

Conduct user research and usability testing for conversational interfaces

Collaborate with AI/ML teams to enhance natural language understanding

Design inclusive conversations that work across diverse user groups

Implement analytics and metrics to measure conversation success

Create and maintain conversation maps and user journey documentation

Design natural, multi-turn conversations across chat and hybrid channels.

Define agentic flows where AI detects intent, collaborates with humans, and resolves issues proactively.

Collaborate with Business and UX Service Designers to embed conversational touchpoints in broader journey systems.

Prototype and test conversational experiences to refine clarity, empathy, and efficiency.

Degree & Experience:

3+ years designing conversational interfaces, chatbots, or AI-driven experiences.

Skilled in tools like Voice flow, Bot press, or Dialog flow.

Strong writing and interaction design skills with a sensitivity to tone and emotional context.

Able to translate technical logic into simple, intuitive experiences.

Technical skills:

Must have previous conversational design and copywriting expertise

Should have basic UX skills

Proficient with digital collaboration tools (Fig Jam, Miro, Mural)

Skilled in data analysis, KPIs, and feasibility assessment

Able to engage and motivate cross-functional team members and stakeholders

Experienced in coaching product/design teams

Background in UX, behavioral design, or growth hacking

Familiar with AI-powered products/assistants

Enterprise software expertise

Attitudes/Behavior:

Customer-focused, proactive, and adaptable to change

Effective communicator, facilitator, and conceptual thinker

Up to date with digital trends and eager to learn

Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills; self-reliant

Experience with agentic design, adaptive AI, or orchestration

Knowledge of human-AI collaboration or prompt architecture

Languages:

English (written and spoken) and Dutch or French
