The role requires strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, deployment automation, scripting, and CI/CD practices, with a particular focus on automating the promotion and migration of Genesys Cloud configurations across environments using CX as Code (Terraform provider).

A major focus of this role is the automation of Genesys Cloud development and configuration migration across environments. While prior Genesys Cloud experience is considered an advantage, strong Terraform, scripting, CI/CD, and automation capabilities are essential. Candidates with a solid DevOps background and a willingness to learn the Genesys Cloud ecosystem are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated deployment processes for Genesys Cloud configurations across development, staging, and production environments.

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code practices for Genesys Cloud using CX as Code (Terraform provider) to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.

  • Deploy and manage applications on Azure, AKS, and Azure Container Apps.

  • Implement and support container platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Integrate monitoring, security, and quality controls into delivery pipelines.

  • Develop automation scripts using Python, NodeJS, or Bash.

  • Manage release and promotion processes for Genesys Cloud developments and configurations through automated CI/CD pipelines.

  • Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and platform issues.

  • Collaborate with development, operations, security, and business teams to improve delivery processes.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure.

  • Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.

  • Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

  • Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).

  • Git, Azure Repos, GitHub.

  • Scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

  • Azure networking, Key Vault, and identity management.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automation.

  • Strong automation mindset with hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code and configuration deployment automation.

  • Experience designing automated promotion processes between multiple environments (Dev, UAT, Production).

Nice to Have

  • Argo CD / GitOps.

  • Dynatrace or Azure Monitor.

  • ServiceNow Change & Release Management.

  • Experience with cloud migration and enterprise environments.

  • Azure Container Apps (ACA).

  • Knowledge of Genesys Cloud architecture, administration, and configuration.

  • Experience with Genesys Cloud CX as Code (Terraform provider).

  • Experience automating contact center platform deployments and configuration management.

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices within SaaS platforms such as Genesys Cloud.

Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.

  • Strong automation mindset and problem-solving skills.

  • Able to work independently and collaborate across teams.

  • Excellent communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
