Job description:

We are seeking an experienced Product & Value Proposal Manager – Mission-Critical Communication Services to drive the development, positioning, and commercialization of innovative communication solutions for public safety and mission-critical environments. 

The ideal candidate is a senior telecommunications professional with extensive experience in mobile network technologies and a strong understanding of the unique requirements of mission-critical communications. This role combines product management, value proposition development, stakeholder engagement, and support for strategic bids and RFP responses within the Belgian public safety sector. 

Key Responsibilities 

Define and manage the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for mission-critical communication services. 

Develop compelling value propositions that address the needs of public safety organizations, emergency services, and other critical communication users. 

Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value and customer benefits. 

Collaborate with technical, commercial, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure market-aligned product development. 

Support business development activities by contributing to high-quality RFP and tender responses. 

Monitor market trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies in the mission-critical communications landscape. 

Drive the adoption of innovative mobile network capabilities, including advanced 4G and 5G services, network slicing, QoS mechanisms, and mission-critical communication solutions. 

Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams and external stakeholders on mission-critical communication strategies and technologies. 

Required Qualifications & Experience 

Minimum 10 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with a strong focus on product management and service development. 

• Deep knowledge of mobile network technologies, including: 

  
  

  • 4G / LTE

  • 5G

  • Quality of Service (QoS)

  • Network Slicing

  • MCX (Mission Critical Services)

  • MVNO environments 

Proven experience in developing product strategies, business cases, and value propositions. 

Strong understanding of mission-critical communications and the public safety ecosystem. 

Experience supporting or leading responses to complex public procurement processes and RFPs. 

Ability to engage with both technical and executive-level audiences. 

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 

Trilingual (ENG/DUTCH/FRENCH), at least English + French or Dutch  

Preferred Profile 

Strong affinity with the Belgian public safety sector and its operational requirements. 

Strategic thinker capable of balancing customer needs, market opportunities, and technological innovation. 

Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts. 

Results-driven professional with a collaborative and customer-centric mindset.
