Location: Standard location is Brussels, and partly remote working is allowed, although 5 days at office should be able as well in some phases of the project

Your role and mission:
In the area of Financial Transformation, the Project Manager plans and leads the maturation and implementation of large and complex IT development initiatives across different teams, in line with delivery practices.
Financial expertise is key for this role, so experience with SAP or OneStream is important. Knowledge of FP&A processes (Financial Planning & Analysis), covering forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and reporting, is a major plus. Knowledge of the financial regulation and compliance frame (eg: IFRS) is a plus as well.
The project manager is capable of bridging the area’s of Finance, Operations and IT through communication and collaboration skills. The role assures alignment between stakeholders at high and lower level, and internal as well as external parties.
The project manager has a good understanding of the company strategy and strong operational insights, so that it is clear for her/him how FP&A can contribute to strategic decision-making.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Establish e2e delivery plan for projects:
Organise communication fora and align all stakeholders for common understanding and agreed decisions.
Align release planning with involved teams considering effort estimates and capacity.
Propose appropriate delivery slices and release slots, favoring frequent releases.
Communicate planning and collect commitments among all stakeholders.
Steer implementation & manage risks:
At all times, maintain clear view on epic timelines and risks.
Bring risks and proposed solution to relevant stakeholders and ceremonies for swift action.
Communicate status to all relevant stakeholders.
Epic governance:
Manage epic budget, follow-up on expenses and prepare Capex releases.
Verify, if necessary, steps are or have been taken for compliancy with financial, security, privacy governance…
Ensure with stakeholders if appropriate change management plan exists.

DEGREE & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 10 years proven experience as Project Manager in the Financial area of large companies.
Knowledge of SAP or OneStream.
Knowledge of FP&A, and of financial regulation and governance frame (eg: IFRS).
Proven record of high-level stakeholder Ing.
Proven record of bridging divisions.
Experience in the telco industry is a plus.
COMPETENCIES:
Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills on financial and strategic matters, also to executive audiences.
Experience with IT project management, requiring coordination between multiple teams/domains.
Maintain helicopter-view with strong strategic and operational insights to anticipate potential issues.
Ability to plan ahead in function of available resources and dependencies.
Experience with working in large organizations and bridge financial, business, and IT-technical departments.
Experience with Agile way of working is a plus.
Familiar with Microsoft tools, like MS Office and Teams.
Able to manage all types of projects, not only financial but also business and technical projects in the longer term.
